Three weeks to day zero

The day zero is the day when I fly out of the US. I plan it for August 14th.

I have sold one of my cars. I made a mistake of letting the buyer to drive away with the license plates. In Massachusetts  you are required to return the license plates when the car is sold. Until this happens the car is registered under your name. I sort of knew about that, but the Czech couple who were buying the car were very nice and promised to return the plates when they register the car. They were honest and indeed I got the plates back three days later, but it cost me a lot of stress from thinking all the bad things that might have happened if they were not.

I have lived in the US since 1994 and have decided to move with my family to my country of origin (Poland). This blog will be mostly about practical aspects of that move. I hope my experience described here will be helpful for someone.
